Heute erreichte uns eine großartige Nachricht: "Alles Farbe!" wurde für
die White Ravens 2013 der IJB in München ausgewählt!
Die Begründung der Jury:
The cover of »Alles Farbe!« (All Is Colour!) with its harmonious composition of
coloured objects including a seahorse, some coins, and a bottle of nail polish,
clearly leaves Goethe’s classic colour wheel of 1809 in the dust. Yet the cover
is not only stylish, it also offers a foretaste of the pages inside. In the book, a
kaleidoscope of objects is gathered with colours ranging from white to green and
rose. Eventually, everything culminates in an explosion of colours. Readers can
thumb through the pages in flip-book style or get lost in the numerous details
when gazing at the drawings and photographs. This collaboration by the members
of Atelier Flora definitely helps to sharpen all readers’ perception: It makes them
realise that the world around them has terrific things in store, if only they walk
through life with their eyes open. (Age: 2+)
